Nondiscrimination Statement

The Corona-Norco Unified School District’s Board of Education is committed to providing an equal opportunity for all individuals in education. The objective of the school system is to provide a program which will enable every child and youth, regardless of his/her race, color, ethnic group, national origin, religion mental or physical disability, marital or family status, gender (including gender identity) or actual or perceived sexual orientation, to have an equal opportunity to achieve the maximum development of his/her individual potential. All District programs, including clubs, organizations, social affairs, athletic groups sponsored by the District or an individual school shall be free from discrimination based upon race, color, ethnic group, national origin, religion, mental or physical disability, gender (including gender identity), actual or perceived sexual orientation or any other unlawful consideration. The Board shall promote programs which ensure that discriminatory practices are eliminated in all District activities. District programs and facilities will comply with requirements as specified under Americans with Disabilities Act. The Superintendent, or designee, shall ensure that interested persons, including those with impaired vision and hearing, can obtain information about available programs, facilities, and activities. The Superintendent, or designee, shall notify students, parents/guardians, employee organizations, and sources of referral and applicants for admission and employment about the District's policy on nondiscrimination (BP: 300).
